Cuban Baseball

The Serie Nacional has come to a conclusion and hundreds of new records were set. The National Team will begin to practice for the Olympics in Havana on May 14th. There are a lot of new players on the potential roster who have never been part of a National Team nor have they been part the selection process. Since Higinio Velez' appointment as Cuban Baseball Federation president, there has been one major change. Rey Vicente Anglada who managed the team in the World Cup competition has been replaced by Antonio Pacheco. Pacheco is the Santiago de Cuba manager who won back to back titles in the Serie Nacional.
